They’re not great compared to the original Mario 3 levels, though. Contra III on GBA does something similar with Contra Hard Corps levels replacing the top down stuff from Contra III. Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts has SNES and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts levels and some original levels based on the first game or something. I’m pretty sure it has six extra levels, one in each world, that you unlock once you beat the game once. You have to go through three menus to pull up a minimap and every area uses the same four tiles, and even if you didn’t the game’s so basic and so broken it’s not worth playing.
